Magnificent pair of French Art Deco wall sconces, signed NOVERDY, dating from the 1920s.
Each pâte de verre shade features delicate violet and white tones and is signed Noverdy, the renowned glassmaker from Dijon, France.
The original gilded bronze mounts are beautifully decorated with floral and leaf motifs, characteristic of the elegant geometric lines of the Art Deco period.
The electrical wiring has been replaced for safe use.
