Antique French Liqueur service decanter silver glass crystal
This splendid liqueur set comprises two decanters and twelve glasses, beautifully presented in their original boxes. The carafes, in cut crystal in the Empire style, feature finely engraved palmettes, the classic symbol of this style inspired by Antiquity. The crystal is highly transparent and the cut is exquisitely precise, elegantly reflecting the light.
The twelve glasses, made of solid silver, bear the Minerve hallmark, guaranteeing the purity of the silver. The inside of each glass is gilded with vermeil, adding an extra touch of luxury and refinement. The juxtaposition of the shine of silver on the outside and gold on the inside of the glasses creates a striking contrast.
The service is presented in its original box, marked “F. REY Marseille - Médaille d'or - Exposition universelle de Paris 1900”, testifying to the exceptional quality of the work and the prestige of the manufacturing house. The box is carefully designed to protect and enhance each piece of the service.
This liqueur service embodies the elegance and savoir-faire of the late 19th century, in the great tradition of French tableware.
