Beautiful antique English sterling silver and guilloché enamel cufflinks, attributed to the renowned Birmingham silversmith Deakin & Francis (D&F).
Each oval face features a striking translucent blue guilloché enamel centre, revealing a delicate wave pattern beneath the enamel. The blue centre is surrounded by a contrasting black geometric enamel border, creating a particularly elegant design characteristic of the early 20th century and Art Deco taste.
The cufflinks are double-sided and connected by their original silver chains.
The reverse bears several English silver hallmarks, including the Birmingham anchor, the lion passant indicating sterling silver, a date letter, and the D&F maker's mark associated with Deakin & Francis of Birmingham.
