Charming antique Art Nouveau pendant, dating from the early 20th century, circa 1900–1910, crafted from gold-plated metal.
The front features a beautiful young woman's profile with long flowing hair, surrounded by an elegant openwork composition of flowers, leaves and graceful scrolling lines.
The feminine portrait, flowing hair and naturalistic floral decoration are wonderfully characteristic of the Art Nouveau / Belle Époque period.
Despite its petite size, this pendant displays lovely detail. The woman's face and flowing hair are beautifully modelled in relief, while the pierced floral design gives the piece an especially delicate and airy appearance.
The pendant retains its suspension ring and can easily be worn on a fine chain or ribbon, or combined with other antique charms and pendants.
It remains in lovely antique condition, with light age-related wear and patina visible in the photographs, adding to its authentic period character.
