This piece features a dramatic drip-glaze finish, where rich rose-to-coral hues cascade over a deep aqua-green base, creating a waterfall effect that shimmers in different lights.

The form is gently baluster-shaped, with a slightly narrower neck above a generously rounded body—perfectly balancing elegance and artistic flair.

🏺 About Paul Baudin and the Poterie de Monaco
Paul Baudin (1879–1931) took over the Poterie de Monaco after the death of his adoptive father, Eugène Baudin, in 1918. Operated under the patronage of Prince Albert I, the studio was active from around 1906 to 1925, creating ceramics celebrated for their bold hues, fluid glazes, and refined craftsmanship, heavily influenced by the Art Nouveau style.

Paul continued this legacy, experimenting with striking drip glazes and organic contours that referenced both nature and contemporary design movements. His works are rare, collectible, and represent a unique chapter in early 20th-century Monegasque art.
